Guest list: We will reach out to you per mail regarding the additional information the embassy requires for the guest list. We also invite your partner. The Protocole Office of the embassy will send out official invitations to each of you in early May.

Luggage: Please leave your luggage at the hotel room before coming to the reception, due to security reasons and limited capacity of the wardrobe.


Player's Registration 

After the official part at the residence is over, we will move to the authentic Serbian restaurant with a beautiful garden to throw out our official Player's Registration where you can register, get your welcome bag, have a dinner and continue getting together with other players.

Player's Dinner Party 

In Belgrade, every night is Friday night! Belgrade is famous for its nightlife on the rivers' restaurants and floating boats called "splavovi". The traditional player's dinner party on Saturday will be held on one of those floating boats anchored at the bank of the Sava River, offering a beautiful panoramic view of Belgrade. Don't miss the traditional Serbian cusine, local beverages and a DJ Vladimir Jevtic to start this unforgettable night in Belgrade!

Queer Movie Night

We will officially close the inaugural edition of our Belgrade PlayOut Open 2019 on Sunday, 2 June at 8.30pm with a small queer movie night in the famous Belgrade's cinema "Yugoslav Cinematheque" in the city center. We will organize this evening in the honour of the tournament and to enrich the cultural life of Belgrade's LGBTQ+ community. The movie night is supported by Parada ponosa Beograd - Belgrade Pride Parade and it will be free of charge for all guests.

All matches of the Belgrade PlayOut Open 2019 will be played on the courts of the Tennis Club Partizan, the most successful tennis club in Serbia founded in 1950 where the most famous Serbian tennis players started their careers such as Novak Djoković, Ana Ivanović, Jelena Dokić, Janko Tipsarević, Nenad Zimonjić, Dusan Lajović, Bojana Jovanovski and even Andrea Petković.


Before the start of the tournament all the players who arrive earlier in Belgrade will have a chance to play at the venue and test the courts. The price per hour will be around 10€. The booking procedure will be explained prior to the tournament. 



We are happy to launch our special Outreach Programme. Thanks to the support of Citizens for Europe and Belgrade Pride we are in a position to help a selected few players with making their wish to join the GLTA's first ever event in the Balkans come true. If you are from the South-East Europe region, if you are a student, and/or if you are currently facing economic difficulties this opportunity is for you!


This short application form is aimed to identify those tennis players who would like to attend the inaugural edition of the Belgrade PlayOut Open 2019 (31 May - 2 June) but might need some financial help. Please fill out the form latest by 31 March 2019 and send any proof of your status or similar to


Eligibility Criteria


Eligible candidates are players from the South-East Europe region, students and/or others from across Europe that are currently unemployed, between jobs or with low income. The organizers will select up to 5 players that meet these criteria. The stipend entails a maximum of 3 nights accommodation and/or a waiver of the registration fee.


This is a confidential process and we will not disclose any of the information provided to third parties or other players.
